Sam is an experienced software professional and is the primary architect of careviso’s prior authorization solution and the seeQer platform.
Sam Leslie brings more than 25 years of software architecture and development experience to careviso. He has significant experience dedicated to biomedical and healthcare systems. His background includes large companies and early-stage startup and has been able to successfully innovate across the spectrum of businesses. He likes the problem solving that small companies foster.
Sam joined careviso in 2019 as the Director of Software Engineering and was then promoted to Vice President in 2023. He has served as the primary architect of both careviso’s prior authorization solution and the seeQer platform, helping shape the company’s core technology. In addition, he oversees and mentors local and remote engineering teams, ensuring delivery of scalable, high-quality products that are meeting the complex needs of healthcare.
Sam holds a Ph.D. in Zoology from University of California, Davis.
