Steve is a fiscally disciplined healthcare executive with 20+ years of CEO, CFO, and Board leadership across public and private equity–backed organizations. Steve has a strong record of driving strategic growth, operational transformation, M&A, and successful exits, with deep expertise in financial oversight, governance, and value-based care.
As an experienced Independent Director and Audit Committee Chair, Steve guides companies through rapid growth, turnarounds, SEC compliance, and M&A transactions. Steve’s Board roles include careviso (PE-backed healthcare technology), SCWorx (NASDAQ: WORX), Horizon Health Center (FQHC), and Community Choice Health Plan.
As the CEO and CFO of CareCentrix, Steve led record sales growth, significant margin expansion and post-acquisition integration. Steve’s earlier roles include Divisional CFO at Medco Health Solutions where he supported $2B+ revenue businesses and international expansion.
Steve holds an MBA from Adelphi University and BS from Cornell University. Steve is also a Certified Public Accountant and Chartered Global Management Accountant and an active member of NACD, AICPA, and NYSSCPA.
